Subaru will present the hybrid version of its small XV CrossStrek crossover at the New York Automobile Exhibition, which will begin its work next week.
The car will be the first Subaru gasoline electric car and it will use the technology based on the Toyota Motor Corporation hybrid system.
Representatives of Subaru did not report when the car arrives at the dealers for sale, but the company promised to make the first deliveries this year.
In addition, a crossover that will debut in New York will be a conceptual version with new working characteristics.
Fuji Heavy Industries, Ltd., Subaru brand founder refused to inform more accurate details about new characteristics. But on the other hand, they released photos of the Subaru XV CrossStrek hybrid bright lemon-green color, which is presented on top of this page. In any case, apparently the crossover will turn out to be quite powerful and economical, even in terms of some spare parts. For example, Nissan windshield, a sedan like the premiere will not cost much cheaper than the frontal for this crossover, although often lobes for crossovers and SUVs are quite expensive.
Standing more rigid requirements for harmful emissions of cars, Subaru rolls out hybrid technology to increase fuel savings in the segment of SUVs, crossovers and all -wheel drive cars, which have sufficiently powerful engines and, accordingly, not a small number of harmful emissions.
Subaru representatives did not reveal the details of their hybrid system. But their hybrid conceptual cars over the years were quite funny, all -wheel drive technology was connected to electric motors.
