Kia Ronda was not sold either in Russia or in the USA. But the new model, developed under the watchful eye of Peter Schreyer, will probably be sold in these countries.
The prototype of the new generation Kia Ronda was seen by photographers-spys during test tests in Europe. In the pictures, the car looks almost ready.
Hyundai will also receive its own version of Ronda, but with a proprietary design. Both versions will have modifications with a seven -seater salon.
The start of sales of both cars is scheduled for the beginning of 2013.
As the latest spy photos showed, the Kia Rondo design largely repeats the concept of Kia GT, as well as the flagship sedan Kia K9. We can see the LED headlights of corporate design and the N-shaped radiator grille.
The platform underlying Rondo is borrowed from the new generation Hyundai Elantra. The line of power units will include a 1.7-liter turbodiesel with a capacity of 115 horsepower and a 255-nm torque, as well as a 2.0-liter turbodiesel that develops the power of 136 horsepower and 320 nm torque.
The price of the car is higher than Renault Logan the price of official dealers. The debit of the car should take place in November at a car dealership in Los Angeles.
