Auto Giant Rossi received state funding for the design of models with hybrid power plants. At the beginning of this summer, the Ministry of Industry and Trade held a competition to create a project for the release of hybrids in the Russian Federation and AvtoVAZ took first place on it. Now the company will allocate 500 million rubles for the development of this area and the fact of the same amount should be invested by the same amount.
It must be reminded that the first serial hybrid, the production of which the Russian automobile enterprise will be the yo-mobile, but at the moment, information is missing about the terms and any details of the release.
AvtoVAZ plans to organize development in the shortest possible time and already in 2014 the first model should appear on tests. True, the market prospect of such cars is not entirely clear. Abroad, their success is due to the popularity of environmental initiative, and quite often the acquisition of such models promises tax benefits. The fleet of our country still consists of cars that do not meet environmental requirements and strong interest in hybrid cars, our motorists do not show.
