Looking at this car, and we are talking about the 3rd generation of the Skoda Octavia model about the 3rd generation, the words first come to the head: “solidity”, “spaciousness”. Yes, you can’t say about this car that it looks defiant or resembles a concept car, but it blows with solidity, although it does not belong to the business class. The machine is somewhat reminiscent of another representative of the D-segment-Korean production. Perhaps even now the sale of Kia Optima and Skoda cars is about the same pace, which means that sedans are still in demand and are not inferior to positions for crossovers.
Although, by and large, the Skoda Octavia car cannot be classified as sedans, since it belongs to the so -called liftbacks – cars that rise with the lid of the trunk, like a hatchback.
An interesting design solution was implemented in this version of Octavia: the manufacturer decided to give an unusual shape of the rear door of the car, for which its design was slightly changed and received an interesting ledge. It is thanks to this, according to the designers of the brand, the car manages to look more stylishly solid. Is it really difficult to say in this nuance of the body, but the appearance is generally completed with completeness.
With the next, the third generation, the Skoda Octavia generation added in size, but, importantly, the mass of the car remained the same. With an increase in size, the machine added the solidity that we mentioned at the beginning of the article. In addition, the car has become more practical: in its luggage compartment a volume of almost 600 liters appeared even more options that help to rationally use the space. For example, now the luggage space has an extremely convenient system of folding mounts. There is also a very practical bilateral flooring, one of the sides of which is trimmed with a rubber layer, which means that it is not afraid of moisture, dirt and it will be easy to clean.
Nevertheless, the second distinguishing quality of Skoda, in addition to its solid appearance, can be considered practicality. Indeed, in this part there are few equal ones in our market. For example, on a cover covering the neck of the fuel tank, the manufacturer attached a universal remedy for cleaning the car from ice – scraper.
