Audi announced the creation of an ultra-light concept with the name Audi TT Ultra Quattro, which was presented as part of the Wörthersee Tour tuning festival, which is taking place in Germany.
The mass of the car was reduced by as many as 300 kg, and now it is 1111 kg. Audi achieved this result thanks to the use of carbon fiber when creating a central tunnel, roof, various elements in the rear of the machine and central racks. The standard roof of the trunk, thresholds and hood for similar ones were also replaced, only from carbon. The car was equipped with a titanium release system, and wheeled wheels were replaced with specially complicated from carbon fiber and aluminum.
The rear-view mirrors were replaced with cameras, the salon received new seats from the R8 GT, the battery was replaced by lithium-ion, as well as the elements of the car suspension were replaced by lightweight.

Despite the work carried out to reduce weight, in this compartment there was air conditioning, windows and standard elements for interior decoration. Audi TT Ultra Quattro was created to show new technical capabilities of the company, some of them should appear in the future on serial cars.
