Share life with those in whose place they would not want to be themselves. It was for this purpose on April 28 that thousands of road users – drivers, motorcyclists, pedestrians, traffic police, decided to take part in the All -Russian Automotodonor action, held in many regions of the Russian Federation as part of the “Week of Good”.
… night highway, wet asphalt, suddenly – a bright flash of headlights in the oncoming lane and all: the screech of the brakes, gnashes a crushed metal, screams of people, sirens of an ambulance and blood. A lot of blood.
Scary? It becomes even worse when you understand that at any moment you can turn out to be a participant and even what is even worse-the culprit of a traffic accident. And it’s not even how confident you feel at the wheel, how careful and attentive. The fact is that everyone for whom the road has become an integral part of life is one way or another at risk.
People who have suffered in an accident in most cases require a blood transfusion. And, as a rule, it is on time, the life of a person depends on this procedure carried out on time with the blood of the necessary group. But the transfusion stations are constantly lacking such an important human material.
To attract the attention of the participants of DD to this problem and voluntarily donate blood to the Avtomotodonor action initiated by the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation is called upon. This is not the first time for the first time, and there are more and more volunteers. The geography of good – Chelyabinsk and Khabarovsk, Ryazan and Kaluga, Orenburg and Samara, Kaliningrad and Chita are also wider. In the Krasnodar and Altai Territory, in Primorye and Transbaikalia, dozens of other Russian cities of the blood service will be provided with vital material at least for the next weekend.
In many cities, residents witnessed an unusual sight- the columns of auto and motorists with the symbols of the action followed to transfusion stations or to mobile laboratories for blood donation organized for the convenience of donors.
By the way, one of the most active and numerous categories of participants in the action became bikers again. Despite the fact that the inhabitants believe that they are quite aggressive on the roads. So believe the stereotypes.
The action, according to participants and organizers, was successful. The next is planned for autumn.
