The Bashkiria traffic police reports statistics on the railway
“Over the 1st quarter of this year, employees of the State traffic inspectorate of the Republic of Bashkortostan revealed about 1,200 violations at the intersection of the Railway crossings,” said Jamil Akhmetgaliev, the press service of the traffic police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Bashkiria.
50% of all these violations provide for the deprivation of a driver’s license. Namely, non -compliance with the rules for the intersection of railway crossings provokes most accidents in these areas.
The passage of the move has the most terrible consequences. The most tragic here is that it is unrealistic to survive in a collision with the train, and not the right move of the railway tracks can cost everyone in the car. Also, as a result of a collision, they can get off the rails and train cars. Wagons can be with passengers, and if it is a truck, then this is no less dangerous for people, since toxic or combustible substances can vive.
The State traffic inspectorate of Bashkiria reports that in the whole republic there are 327 crossings through which the road passes. The traffic police, of course, cannot constantly be on duty in dangerous areas. Therefore, each driver is obliged to be guided by the legal awareness, maturity and deliberation of actions, which is an important factor for traffic safety on the road.
According to the studied statistics, the number of cases of accident at moves to the republic is reduced. In 2010, 5 cases were registered, four people and seven victims died. In 2013, only 1 accident was registered, with one injured.
