Audi is trying with all his might to keep the current generation of the TT sports coupe on the market, and the debut of TT RS took place recently.
But time does not stand still and Audi engineers are working hard on the next generation TT. Our photographers-spions have tracked the test mule of the novelty.
Since the mule is captured in the photo, it looks almost completely identical to the current generation.
Photographers tried to take interior pictures, but the car interior was covered with fabric. This indicates the fact that serious changes in the interior design are waiting for us.
With a detailed examination of the test mule, you can notice the wheelbase increased in size, the altered position of the wings and the front bumper. New exhaust pipes appeared in the back of the car, which hint at the updated power units.
Rumor has recently appeared that the next TT, which will probably be built on the recently presented Modular Transverse Matrix platform, will be easier due to the wider use of aluminum. Audi will still offer front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive modifications.
The premiere show of the novelty should take place in 2013.
